The local Spencer quilting guild, Beehive Quilters, will be hosting a bed turning at the 2016 Heritage Days on June 4, 2016. A bed will be set up in the Heritage Park Community Building and we are highly interested in quilts that have a historic significance to you or the community. Examples might be your great grandmother's quilt, a quilt made by a historic icon, a quilt that has been handed down through generations, etc. At 10:00 am and 3:00 pm, a spokesperson from the guild will give the background and history of each quilt. A raffle will be held for a locally made quilt that benefits the Beehive Quilters.
