The City of Spencer will be accepting resumes for lifeguard positions for the 2013 summer season at the Municipal Swimming Pool. All applicants must be Red Cross Certified (or enrolled in the current class), 16 years of age (part time work) or older, be able to work within a rotating schedule and available for the summer. Please drop resumes off at the Municipal Building in the Mayor’s Office. For additional information you may call 304-927-1640.

Removal of the former Depue Hospital is now complete. The building, which was serving as an apartment building, was destroyed by fire in December of 2012. The City of Spencer took on the project of abating the facility and removing the destroyed structure. For photos click on the read more link. |
